10 Day Great Migration Safari

Nairobi, Nakuru, Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp, and Maasai Mara: Experience the Great Migration by walking and driving safari, along with other wildlife adventures and cultural experiences in local communities.

2015 Price: $3,900 per person, double occupancy (single supplement applies)
A minimum of four travelers is required for each tour at this pricing

  • Includes all ground transportation, lodging, meals, and activities as shown below. We can assist you with additional hotel reservations or tours for before and after this tour if needed.
  • 5% of the trip cost will be donated to charities serving the communities we visit.
  • 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before departure.

Rest up and get acclimated to your new environment. City tour with visits to wildlife rescue and ecology centers around Nairobi, such as the elephant orphanage, giraffe center and local craft center

Day 2: Nairobi to Nakuru

Depart for Nakuru National Park after breakfast

  • Afternoon nature walk in Menengai Crater

Day 5: Maji Moto
Experience Maasai community life, and exploring local educational and health philanthropy projects. Activities could include:

  • Ceremonies for blessings in and around the village
  • Gather and learn about medicinal plants
  • Daily life in the village (beading, cooking, water, laundry)
  • Warrior Training
  • Personal time with Medicine Woman
  • Campfire, stories and songs
  • School & community visit
  • Maasai Market
  • Walk the Loita Hills
