Amazing wildlife experiences through walking and driving safari, along with the opportunity to visit native cultures like the Chaga or Maasai people, for an up close and personal visit to Tanzania.

50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before departure.
5% of the trip cost will be donated to charities serving the communities we visit.

Take a walk and experience local traditional culture of the Arusha people known as Wa-arusha tribe. |
Day 2
Arusha |
Arusha National Park
Depart for Arusha National Park. Although one of the Tanzania’s smallest parks, it is one of its most beautiful and topographically varied. Its main features includes; Ngurdoto Crater (often dubbed Little Ngorongoro), Momela Lakes, Mount Meru and abundant animal life. We are fairly certain to see waterbuck, reedbuck, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, dik-dik, warthog, duiker and elephant. |
Day 3
Tarangire National Park |
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful area stretching south-east of Lake Manyara around the Tarangire river. During dry season, July to October, Tarangire has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife of any of the country’s parks. Large herds of zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest and especially elephant are here. |
Day 4
Mto Wa Mbu Town |
Mto Wa Mbu Town & Lake Manyara National Park
Morning walk to visit local tribes and cultures, exploring their farming, irrigation, and homes. Sample local cuisine, visit schools supported by donations from each trip, and income generation projects to gain a deeper understanding of local lifestyle. Late afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch, in the Great Rift Valley, home to tree-climbing lions, colorful birds, elephant and hippo. We will have afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. |

Lake Manyara National Park / Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, Transfer to Karatu Highlands for a day of the walking and exploring the area with the musically talented Iraqw tribe-pastoral rival to the Maasai. Then drive to Central Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge, the history-changing archaeological site made famous by the Leakey family. Game drive en-route to Serengeti. |

Game drives in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains in search of the large predators and gentle herbivores. |
Day 7
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater |
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Morning game drive in Serengeti then on to Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro is Collapsed Volcano, creating an incredible natural amphitheater teeming with all of the African big game. Our luxury hotel is perched on the rim of the crater for stunning views. |
Day 8
Ngorongoro to Longido |
Ngorongoro & Longido
All day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games, then drive to Longido. |
Day 9
Longido to Arusha |
Longido to Arusha
A day for exploring the area with Maasai guides. This is classic savannah where many species of birds and animals such as lesser kudu, giraffe, gerenuk and klipspringer can be spotted while walking through natural forest to historic sites from British colonial times on the slopes of Mount Longido. Experience great interaction with Maasai tribe, learning about local herbs then return to hotel in Arusha in the late afternoon. |

Arusha to the Airport
Check out of rooms in the late morning, then relax in the lodge lounges or tour around Arusha before transferring to the airport for evening flights home. |
